Poster about project in our school:

The 1st of September - first day back at school.

In the morning all of us - teachers, students and parents meet at school. Then, holding the school banner, we go to the inaugural Holy Mass in the church (this is Polish tradition, moreover, the church adjacent to the school). Then everyone together with the priest meet in the school hall. The headmaster welcomes all present people, introduces teachers and provides general information. Another point of the day is meeting the pupils, parents and tutors in classrooms. Classes begin next day.

Independence Day in our school

GOOD DEEDS

In October, the leaves fall from the trees. They lay on the ground. They covered our kindergarten playground. We decided to help the school cleaners with the removal of the leaves. It's also our playground. This is good deed!

In November we celebrate All Saints Day and All Souls' Day. At the cemetery in Runowo there are many old graves. There are some graves which people can't look after because all family's members died ! So we decided to do it and light candles for the dead. Our kids feel helpful!

In winter, the forest animals should be fed. We have gathered a lot of chestnuts and acorns. We invited the representative of hunting team to our kindergarten and gave to him all of the chestnuts and acorns we gathered. Our guest thanked us and told us how our gifts will be used. He also introduced us the various mysteries of the forest and animals who live there. He gave us books about the life of the forest. We are proud of our good deeds.

Our pupils are helping to feed forest animals.

In our kindergarten we organize a collect of batteries and screw caps. Through these actions we clean the environment and shape pro-environmental attitudes. We give it to processing into useful products and children in need of financial support may participate in rehabilitation camps.

 Our children's winter fun

In our school, on 6th of November, in grades 0 - III we organized the breakfast to give children a chance to prepare and eat the most important meal of the day. Children had fun not only to share with others, but also to try new flavors, find out what other kids like to eat for breakfast and why breakfast is so important. Here's the example which can speak to children's imagination: Car without petrol can't take us on a trip and the student without breakfast won't have enough energy to play and learn. To one and another the "fuel" is essential.

Try to learn, study and participate in the competitions very well!

We sing the song "Rainbow in my lunch"

How to become the best!  Our young athletes from Runowo - Poland showed the best result ! They won the competition and received the first place medals

Teddy Bear Day

The teddy bear is one of the most popular toys for children, and holds a special place in many adults hearts, too. This lovable stuffed animal has a day all of its own, Teddy Bear Day. It gives a chance for people to get teddy out of the cupboard and make him the center of attention.

Kindergarteners brought a Bear Buddy to school with them to join in all the fun in kindergarten!

This was so much fun!

St Andrew Day

29/30 November in Poland is the day of mysterious parties with the candles and future telling games, called Andrzejki  (St Andrew Day)– the same as in the very past, but nowadays treated as a fun.
